In his practice, Daniel works with a capable and dedicated team of lawyers and support staff to bring value-added services to clients. He firmly believes that the lawyer’s role is to bring about reconciliation, by bringing people together and bringing their objectives together. With that approach, Daniel constantly strives to mediate and help his clients find common ground from which they can move on in their lives.
In the area of Family Law, Daniel has assisted clients with divorce and ancillary matters, annulment, adoption applications, and applications made under the Mental Capacity Act. He has also helped to draft wills and LPAs, and has made successful applications to court for grants of probate and letters of administration. In the area of Conveyancing and Property Law, Daniel has acted for numerous purchasers, sellers, and banks, and has assisted with preparing a wide range of related documents such as powers of attorney and deeds of indebtedness.
Daniel has also assisted on a variety of corporate matters such as the drafting and preparation of a scheme of arrangement, shareholders’ agreements, and loan agreements, reviewing and advising on contracts, as well as performing due diligence and capital reduction exercises, among others. This background lends him a preciseness and conciseness in drafting documents such as affidavits, legal submissions, and settlement deeds, and enhances his ability to consider multiple viewpoints in strategising and achieving the best possible result for his clients.
Daniel is an effective communicator and ‘people’ person, who understands the importance of building and restoring relationships. This guides his practice and the way in which he interacts with his clients and other stakeholders in his Family Law Practice.
Outside of legal practice, Daniel enjoys reading, listening to music, watching sports, drinking coffee and spending time with his family. He is also active in his church’s youth ministry and is entrusted with mentoring a group of young adults together with his wife.
